We have set up a twitter account for Texas Cotton Ginners Association! Follow us @GinnersTexas. In additional to our normal email distribution, we will be sending out newsletters and alerts through this media going forward. Aaron and I are only marginally familiar with Twitter, so please be patient with us as we work through the process of setting up this system. We have set it up as a private account, so we will be busy getting our followers sorted out as we get this program started. If you send a follow request and are not connected in a reasonable amount of time, please let us know.
We are also setting up a Facebook page for TCGA. At this point, we will not be distributing the newsletter and alert information through the Facebook page – those will only be available on the web page, by email, and by twitter. We will be posting things more for the general public, like trade show photos and trade show registration Information. As we get more familiar with these two applications, we will hopefully be able to offer more options for communicating with our members!
